Stepping into the holographic pod, Kaiba looked around the room once more to
make sure no one would be able to come in and disturb him during his session. It
was not likely in the first place; the pods were still in the lab for testing
after the fiasco with the Big Five. No one came into this lab without his
authority and currently only he and Mokuba had that.
The lid to the pod closed, shutting him off from the outside world. Pulling the
visor over his eyes and leaning back in the seat, he waited for the sensory
transfer to the computer network.
His vision filled with the familiar technicolored swirl signaling the transfer
was in progress before he found himself standing outside the forest. The smile
upon his face would have frightened anyone who felt they knew him well enough,
so unusual on the normally stoic teen. So unnatural with its feral intensity, it
would have frightened the boy himself if he had seen it. Instead, unable to
fathom the difference in his appearance he started walking in the direction he
knew the castle lay.

Mokuba watched as his brother snuck down the hall to the lab that had become off
limits to everyone save himself and Seto. Well, he thought, his brother was not
sneaking, not really. Seto never snuck around anywhere. No, instead he stormed,
stomped, or walked. He stood in the hallway watching the door for a long time,
waiting for his brother to come back out. Curiosity finally got the better of
the young boy after waiting. His brother was still in the test lab and he wanted
to know why.
Walking quietly down the hall, as he did not sneak either, Mokuba made his way
to the door of the lab. Entering his access code, the door opened letting him in
the room. Looking around, Mokuba did not notice his brother right away. He
realized Seto must be inside one of the pods when he saw that the main view
screen was on. Mokuba knew Seto had not been in the room long enough to have
made it as far into the game as the screen showed. Not with all the monster
battles, he should have to face. So how, he wondered had his brother already
traveled that far?
Something was up and once again, his curiosity plagued him. Seto must have
reprogrammed the game. Why didn’t he tell Mokuba about the change, or about the
fact that he was testing it out today? The younger Kaiba climbed into one of the
other pods determined to find out just what his brother was doing. Seto always
needed his help on things like this, and it wasn’t fair not to include him this
time.

Seto had finally made it to the city. He would have to make a few more
adjustments on the system as it started him too far away from his intended
destination. The castle loomed before him, sunlight gleaming off the white stone
walls. Walking toward the castle entrance, Seto felt his body reacting to the
situation he had already envisioned many times before. The return of the
triumphant hero and the reward the princess had promised.
His whole body shook, annoyed at the length of time it was taking him to
complete his mission. If he had been anyone else, anywhere else, he would be
sweating as well nervous over what was to come. As it was, he was not just
anyone else. He was Seto Kaiba, and he was never nervous. Everything was going
according to the script; the town and its citizens paraded him, the mighty
savior, and hero, to their princess.
Princess Adina greeted him warmly upon seeing him enter the room. “My hero,
you've come to visit us again. Welcome back."
“I’m here for my reward, Princess. Let’s go somewhere a little more private,
shall we?” He smiled again, and would have sworn the princess actually hesitated
momentarily if not for the fact he knew such actions were not part of her
programming. Grabbing her by the arm he pulled her into one of the bedrooms.
It is only a game, he reminded himself, and nothing here is real. Only sparks of
light and pixels, images playing around in my head. Watching the girl’s face as
he held her arm tight, Seto took his free hand and quickly undid the virtual
pants he was wearing. Pulling free the growing erection he had felt since first
returning to the world, he ran his hand up and down his flesh bringing it to
full length.
The princess looked at him with full horror registering upon her face, “What are
you doing?”
“Getting my reward for saving you.” He dragged her closer to him as he sat down
upon the bed. Turning her to face away from him, Seto lifted her dress just
enough to reach under ripping her underwear off. It is only a game, not real,
not what I really want but close enough he thought.
She fought him, as she should anyone, even someone who’d rescued her, who would
attack her in such a way. He wasn’t expecting nor wanting it to be easy.
Struggling he held her tight, one arm around her waist as he positioned himself
at her reluctant opening. Thankfully, it was not the real thing; with no
preparation, no lubricant, he knew both of them would hurt like hell.
Nevertheless, it was not real; he was not actually slamming into the small body
of the girl who looked so much like his Mokuba. He did not feel the firm white
cheeks of the other’s ass bouncing upon his legs. The tears running down the
pale pink cheeks were not real--none of this was except for the release he knew
his body felt in the real world.
Seto held her tight for a few moments afterwards as if any of it mattered, maybe
as if he could comfort the virtual girl of her pain. When she stopped crying he
sat her down upon the bed where he had been. He went to leave, turning around
again only at the sound of the girl’s voice.
“Why?” She asked, looking up through tear-swollen gray eyes.
He hesitated to answer. Not because of the answer but he had no reason to tell
her the truth. To say it aloud would be admitting something too dark about
himself. Then again, he could erase the program’s memory so why not tell her.
“Because you’re as close as I can get to the real person.” He turned and walked
out the door missing the astonished look upon the Princess’s face.

Kaiba awoke as soon as the system released his body from its virtual state.
Moving quickly, he shut down the computer after changing some of the programming
information. Then, buttoning up his coat to cover the residual proof of his time
in the VR pod, he headed back to his office.
Mokuba waited until he heard the outer door open and shut before he opened the
pod where he had been. Tear tracks covered his face as he walked slowly over to
the main computer, turning it on once more. He waited until the system reboot
finished before applying a few touches of his own to the program; he was, after
all, his brother’s sibling. It would signal him the next time his brother came
to use the pods, using a variant his brother had already programmed in and
therefore wouldn’t notice until he could join the game.
In the end, if his brother loved him that much--why should he have to settle for
a fake? His virtual body would work just fine as a replacement until he was old
enough to take matters into his own hands in a few years. Then he could claim
his reward.
