A Ne're Forgotten Dream

Rating: Teen-16

No one would ever guess the shy reserved girl with the yellow hair bow could hide such a secret longing. Surrounded everyday by books detailing far away places, romance, fairy princesses, gods and goddesses...she dreamed of all of these.

Her favorites though were the tales of the Celtic deities, wild redheaded men and women fueled by their emotions. Nature brought to life as personification.

There was one she dreamed of often. A woman with short fiery red hair loosely dressed in a flowing skirt and vest that barely covered her muscular chest. Bare stomach and arms but a transparent shift wrapped between the cuffs upon them.

Miho wasn’t sure who the lady represented, she had searched every book in the school library, had even sent away from books from other places. Nothing came of her search.

Every night she would be there in her dreams. The air would change, a woodsy scent would linger on the wind and suddenly butterflies would surround her. As she turned around, there her Goddess would stand. It frightened Miho slightly, this attraction she felt for the unknown woman.

She was obviously dangerous...she looked it. The lean warrior’s body, the beautiful but very deadly dagger she carried at her side.

Her Goddess would come to her taking her by the hand. She would lead Miho into the forest before them. As they would walk, Miho watched her Goddess, taking in the striking form of perfection. They would come to a clearing full of flowers, a quite peaceful area where she would lay Miho down on the grass and gaze at her form.

Miho always became embarrassed at this point of her dream. Why would someone so beautiful look at her that way? Plain simple unattractive ‘Ribbon’. Even the boys at school who looked at her like that didn’t mean it, she knew they didn’t, they couldn’t after all. She wasn’t deserving of the attention.

Her Goddess seemed to know how she felt. The fierce Goddess would soften and stroke Miho’s cheek with her hand, gently caressing her face. Miho would turn into that touch, longing for more as the hand would linger then slide to her neck and chest.

The scent of flowers would come rushing to her head as her Goddess bent down next to her, kissing her lips tenderly. How she wanted that kiss to go on forever. The soft lips brushed gently over hers. She opened her mouth slightly letting the sweetness of her Goddess to flow in. It wasn’t rushed, like the few times she had been kissed by boys, time stood still as she enjoyed it.

Her Goddess would lazily move her hand down over her chest and Miho would wonder once again where her nightgown seemed to go at moments like this. The feel of a hand gently massaging at her breast, then when the kiss broke off the strong mouth suckling at it. Miho had never known that could feel so nice, most boys just grabbed and groped them never minding when she had told them it hurt. She moaned as her Goddess stopped what she had been doing.

Then she started going lower, her Goddess licked a trail across Miho’s abdomen leading down between her legs. As she came to the soft patch of hair, she would turn her head away twisting instead down Miho’s leg, tickling her inner thigh.

Miho spread her legs wider begging for more. Her Goddess complied bringing her hand up to spread the silky folds of skin she dipped her tongue to touch the sensitive nub between them. As the warmth from her Goddess’s breath touched her skin...

A knock came at Miho’s door. Her mother had come to awaken her for school. Once again, just as she was reaching a high point of her dream it came crashing down around her. She called back to her mother letting her know she was awake. Instead of getting right out of bed, Miho reached down lifting up her nightgown just enough to get her hand between her legs.

She shifted her hand under her panties feeling the wetness of her juices there. She quickly set up her own familiar rhythm rubbing against her clit ever so hungrily. She thought of her Goddess, back in her dreams, of how she wished it wasn’t her own hand bringing her to this fulfillment. She imagined how it would be for her Goddess to be the one touching her in this most private spot. Miho could feel the imagined touch and it sent her shivering into release.

Later at school Miho once again, hidden and shy, kept away from the other kids. They didn’t interest her, they were nothing compared to her Goddess. Even the mindless dueling that all the boys were into didn’t hold anything for her. Then she saw her. Two boys were running a test it seemed of Kaiba Corps new technology while dueling and there between the boys, in front of all, was her Goddess.

But how? Miho was confused; she had never paid any attention to the silly game, why would her Goddess be a Duel Monster? She ran up to where the boys were dueling and asked one of the kids watching who the monster was as she pointed to her Goddess. A name...now she had a name for her. Miho left the school dejected; her Goddess was just a card. Not real...never real...

That night when her dream began, Miho remembered the truth that she’d learned. When the butterflies came, she turned to look at her Goddess again. “You’re not real. You’re just a piece of paper. A Duel Monster...Guardian Elma...”

“Am I not real enough for you here my child? Does that mean you no longer love me or that I can no longer love you?”

“But,” Miho told her. “It’s not real.”

“Love is in the heart and mind child, it’s in the soul. Just because there is no physical does not make it not real.” She could see Miho try to take this in, confusion written on her face. “For now child take what love you can, someday what you see as real will come to you, when you are ready for it.”

Tears fell down her face as Miho began to understand what her Goddess, for yes that’s what she still was, meant. She reached out to take her Goddess’s hand, “Take me to our place, for this dream seems to have come early tonight. Maybe we can find love before the dawn.”
