“I can’t believe how much that boy can eat sometimes,”
Yami was telling Yugi.
“I know, seems like all he ever does is eat,” the diminutive one replied.
“That’s what dogs do, eat, sleep, and eat more…” No one had heard Kaiba come
back in.
“Decide to stop pouting and play nice like the rest of us, moneybags?” Jounouchi
had stopped eating long enough to throw out the insult.
“Actually mutt, I wasn’t pouting as you put it. I had forgotten to do something
earlier and it had to be done tonight.”
“Right, so where were ya?”
Seto smirked, looked over to where Honda was standing and replied, “One of the
back rooms down the hallway.” “I heard you guys playing one of Mokuba’s games so
I stayed out of the way until you were done.” Honda just glared at the CEO.
“Next game!” Mokuba cheered.
“I am not playing any more of your games,” Honda said.
“What’s wrong; last one too exciting for you?” Kaiba baited. “In any case no one
here is going to ruin this for my little brother, including me. So I suggest we
all prepare for what ever he has in store for us next.”
“Really Niisama, you mean it?” the look on Mokuba’s face showed he wasn’t sure
about his brother’s dedication to this.
“Yes,” Seto’s glare daring anyone to say otherwise.
“Good,” Mokuba cheered. Seto got the feeling again that his brother was up to
something, and he was in for trouble.
“We’re actually going to watch a few movies now.” Everyone looked a little more
relieved at that. What problems could a movie cause after all? As they all moved
over to the couch and chairs near the big screen TV, Mokuba started talking
again. “This movie has a twist!” Collective groan again from all but, what could
they do? “Everyone sit down and get comfortable. Now on the table there are
several glasses full of…”
“Mokuba! Is that what I think it is?” Seto again wondered about the wisdom of
agreeing to this night.
“Maybe…and then again maybe not. Some of the glasses have apple juice in them
and the others have whiskey.” “Now don’t get your undies in a wad Seto, everyone
is staying the night so we don’t have to worry about anyone drinking and
driving. Now I know Serenity doesn’t drink so she gets a glass of juice, also
there is no way Bakura is getting any alcohol so he gets juice also.”
“Damn!”
“Sorry Bakura, Ryou asked me to make sure you didn’t drink. Now the movie we
are watching is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” the movie version, not the
cartoon it’ll last longer that way. Every time someone says “Who” you have to
take a drink. The kick to the game is, no one is to know what you are drinking,
so you can act as silly or drunk or even sober as you want (well maybe not sober
if you’ve got a whiskey). In the mean time while everyone is watching the movie
I’ll be having another game going on in the other room, I’ll take people out of
here at random to play that game.”
As everyone settled down with the glasses Mokuba handed him or her, the movie
started. “You know, I don’t know how I missed seeing this movie before,” Ryou
stated matter of factly. “You were out of town last year remember? Off with your
dad in some Ra forsaken country or other.”
Mokuba let the movie and drinking get going for a while before going over to
his first ‘victim’. “Hey Yugi, come here a minute please. And bring your glass.”
“Sure Mokuba what’s wrong?”
“Oh nothing, just game number two.” Mokuba led Yugi upstairs to a small room.
“Go in there, sit down and wait. Someone will be up in a few minutes for the
next part of the game.”
“Ummm okay Mokuba…”
“Oh and Yugi, don’t turn on the lights.”
“One with alcohol, next to get the juice…”
Back down stairs, Mokuba took in the scene before him. ‘Looks like there have
been quite a few “Whos” in the movie’ he chuckled to his self. ‘Good thing I
know who is and who isn’t drinking apple juice.’ “Yami, could you bring your
drink and follow me please?”
Yami looked over and realized that Yugi had left, “Where’s…”
“Just follow me, please.” Again, Mokuba led while someone followed to the
upstairs room. Opening the door, he said, “Inside. Now you two boys have fun.”
With that, Mokuba shut and locked the door. ‘They’ll figure it out I’m sure…I
hope so anyways. Yami can be a bit dense sometimes.’
The next couple of ‘victims’ were a lot easier. “Bakura, wanta have some fun?”
After all, he was sitting there drinking apple juice watching some stupid kiddie
movie, no blood or anything. Although he had to admit watching Ryou getting
drunk was kinda fun, the kind that led to other kinds of fun… “This is going to
be more up your alley.” Mokuba actually explained to Bakura what was going on
this time. “Just go up to the second floor, third room on the right. Ryou will
be up in a few minutes.”
Bakura laughed at the pint sized Kaiba, “You sure you’re related to your
brother? This is nearly evil, and incredibly fun…don’t see it coming from him.”
Mokuba watched him going up the stairs, “Not yet anyways.”
Mokuba continued taking people out of the room and sending or taking them to
other rooms for the night. Finally, there were just two people left in the room.
Neither boy had noticed the dwindling population of the room, that they were the
only ones left, or the fact that they were both rather tipsy. The movie credits
were starting to roll as Mokuba came back for these two. ‘Right on time,’ he
thought as it looked as if they were going to start at each other again.
“Mutt looks like your friends left you behind, must have been a bad dog.”
Jounouchi looked around and growled at the brown haired boy, “Hell, it’s your
party and they left, tell you any thing?”
Mokuba walked in between them, separating the boys. “They all went to bed, come
on Jounouchi I’ll take you up to your room.” “Seto? Could you stay here a moment
I want to talk to you first.”
“Sure little brother, I’ll wait for you.”
Mokuba took Jounouchi up to the third floor, away from the guest rooms. Opening
the door to the room he told the blonde, “Don’t turn on the lights, the bed is
straight ahead about five feet in front of you. Just trust me, get in and have a
good night.”
Jounouchi pondered this for a moment, but the alcohol was fuzzing his brain over
so he didn’t think too hard on it. “Night Mokuba.”
‘Now comes the hard part.’
