Candy Kisses

Who ever said kisses were sweet was an idiot in Kaiba’s opinion. They were not sweet nor did they make his heart flutter. There were no words of love or adoration that came with them in his experience. They were hard and biting with an aftertaste that left his lips burning.

They came after an intense argument or moments before a drawn out battle for dominance. They were hungry, forced, with bodies pressed close together, and reason suddenly taking a holiday.

Not at all like candy, as some dumb-assed poets would have one think. Unless he counted them to be like the Altoids Jounouchi had skillfully passed between his lips the last time they kissed--bitter and tart, biting back as he crushed it between his teeth. The blond muttered something about them being good for other things besides freshening breath and that he would show him later.

Kisses were not sweet; however, Kaiba decided he could get used to them.
